2024 Spring Workshop – Jolie Elder

Jolie Elder Weekend of Workshops – March 16-17, 2024

Jolie Elder has explored a wide range of needle arts after learning to cross stitch at age four. She designs, teaches, spins, and stunt knits in the Atlanta area where she demystifies the obscure. In October 2023 Jolie taught at the NY State Sheep and Wool Festival in Rhinebeck. This prestigious annual festival draws approximately 30,000 fiber-arts enthusiasts and over 300 vendors.

Jolie has served on the boards of Atlanta Knitting Guild, North Georgia Knitting Guild, Southeast Fiber Arts Alliance, and Center for Knit and Crochet. She has published in PLY, Spin-Off, and Cast On. Her cleverest invention, Versa Lace, is a method for working stockinette-based laces reversibly. Class Descriptions

REGISTRATION 

Registration form and payment details can be found on the Registration Form.

Please Note:

  • Registration is in person at guild events or by snail mail. You will be registered in the order the form and payment is received.
  • Mail registration form with check (made out to Salt Lake Knitting Guild) to: Carolyn Chen, 7291 Viansa Ct., Midvale, UT 84047-5681
  • Payment must be received with registration. You will be notified by email about your class choices, status, homework, and supply lists within two weeks of your completed registration.
  • If a class is full, you will be notified and reimbursed. A waitlist will be maintained.
  • Salt Lake Knitting Guild members can register early from January 13 until February 12, 2024. Thereafter the registration will be open to all, closing on March 9th.
  • To pay by mail with a credit card, mail your form with a note that you will pay by card. Print out a second copy of your registration form. Please make sure to provide your current e-mail and phone number so we can contact you to get your credit card information (which will be treated securely and then destroyed). You will not be registered until payment is complete. 
  • No cancellation reimbursement unless your place in the class is refilled.
  • Save a copy of this form as a reminder of what you signed up for, dates & times.
