Charity Knitting Update
Shelley Ericson has been moderating a Ravelry thread in order to connect interested knitters to good organizations with needs for knits. Several guild members have offered to collect items at meetings and deliver them to local hospitals and other collection sites. Check the Ravelry thread to see if your favorite charity is among them. If it’s not, post to the thread and see who else is knitting for your group!
Remember to let Shelley know if you knit for a cause: she’s keeping track of guild member donations, and this year is off to a fast start!

Amy Hargreaves is collecting synthetic yarn for the women’s prison and Rachael Lauritzen is searching for yarns in natural fibers for the kids at the Waldorf School that are keen to learn how to knit. So de-stash and help a novice knitter!
